Which Speakers are the best for iPod touch? I've heard great stuff about the Bose speakers but are there any other great ones? I am willing to spend around $400 so I want to choose wisely.

Portable or non-portable?

If you're looking for portable, then the Bose are probably your best bet IMO.

If portability is not an issue, I'd just go with a Apple-Brand Dock, a set of AV-Cables and then a stereo set ... possibly a small surround-sound system. Then you'd have great sound and the ability to do TV-Out viewing as well (for the future possibly).

let us know what you think about it.
the griffin should sound good with deep powerful bass as far as i know, better bass than the bose sounddock. but also the sounddock is much smaller and the portable version can run from batteries. but for under 100$ the griffin is definitely a steal!

the bose is perfect if you want good sound on the go. but only the portable version, as it has a built in battery.
it sounds really great for its size, but simply cannot match the sound of the griffin or other bigger speakers.
still i don't know of any other speakers of sounddock's size that can produce such a full and powerful sound.
