So I do a search for iTunes because I wanted to download it and I keep getting directed to Microsoft's site. It appears that you have to download it from Microsoft now. What is up with that?

And you gotta enter in some login info which I don't know if I have.

Or is there somewhere else I can download iTunes and not have to go through monkey business?

Okay I did some research and I learned how you can download it without going through Microsoft's store.

You really don't want the Microsoft Store version. Apps on the Microsoft Store are typically crippled, almost to the point of being useless. Unless you are running Windows-S (S is for Secure, only Microsoft Store apps are allowed, disable this mode if you have this version to get real software) you should avoid the Microsoft Store as much as possible.

The page for download is here: https://www.apple.com/itunes/
Scroll past the Microsoft Store logo, and click on MacOS or Windows links.
In Windows, most people should use the 64-bit version: https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/win64
The few people still running 32-bit Windows should use the 32-bit version: https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/win32

For Mac, older systems can get iTunes 12.8: https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/macos
Newer systems are upgraded to Catalina, which has the Music app built in.
