What is the name of the cd that i can buy so that i can watch dvd's on my computer?

I don't have a dvd cd input place built in my computer, and i was wondering where i can buy one and what the name is.

How much is it? Is there a cd that i can download and just put dvd's in my cd-rom input place?

u dont have a cd drive? it must be an old computer. go to best buy and ask them about it. if the computers that old i dont think ipod will work on it.

i HAVE a cd drive of course. i can't play dvd's on it. so, i was asking if there was a cd that they sell that i can play dvd's and rip.

well if you want to watch it, you need a DVD drive. but i'm curious of a DVD program because of my powerdvd that got deleted and i lost the disk for it. so anything for free?

CD-ROM drive CANNOT play DVD, what you need is a DVD-ROM drive. You can get a DVD drive at any electronic/computer store about 10x cheaper than you iPod.

They have both internal & external - for ease get external cause then its plug/play + you can use it on as many computers as you'd like!
