I've been inspired the UGC cinemas (only UKers will know). Their advert at the start, goes like this...........

10 minutes of this ! (aeroplane flys across the screen)
A few slices of this ! (A pizza appears)
Then after a few examples like that, it moves onto....
Or ONE MONTH OF THIS! (a membership card appears, where you get into movies for free)"

So I was just wandering, what else could $299 (or any other iPod prices, any currency) Get you ??

Just recently our University publication had an article about how VSU (voluntary student union) is better then iPod's. They both cost ~AU$400. Rather funny.

As for what terms I think in:

24.24 weekly train tickets to uni.
16 CD's
5 games
16 months of World Of Warcraft
Another MP3 player
2.6 pairs of replacement E2c's (love 'em)
17.39 pairs of dunlop volleys (enough to last me till I am 40)

Maybe a new model Palm PDA in a new Vaja case ... which I suppose I need/want .. mine's a year or 2 old .. but I like the ipod much bettttterrrrr.

Don't really need any of this stuff do we .. but we sure as hell love it !!!

We are gadget freaks in this house. Husband/Me/Son all have ipods & palm PDA's .. computers each .. ummm dvd players, mobiles ... probably other stuff but that's off the top of my head.
