Vid. iPod won't update songs/videos

My iPod won't update songs, videos, etc. I plugged the usb cable
to my computer & stuff, but still won't. I tried unplugging/plugging it
back in quick too.

Any solutions?

When I encountered this problem, all I needed to do is reset my computer and everything was fine and it started updating automatically again. Try it.

what do you mean reset?

"Reset", means turn it off and turn it on again, might help but I doubt it.

Does your computer recognize your iPod? Can you see it listed in iTunes? or as a drive in my computer? or under the USB devices list?

If you can see it check you haven't set "manually manage music and videos", because I think when its set this stops iTunes from automatically updating it (You have to drag songs in yourself)
