Ue 11

Might as well start a thread. I don't think I'll buy these because of the price and I don't need something like this even if I did have the money. Looks like a good product however. Reminds me of the razor wars. I wonder how many drivers per side will IEM get up too. Any thoughts on these?

Actually the design does make some sense given some of my dislikes about the UE-10, but I'm not upgrading anytime soon.


The one thing I never did fully understand is why the UE-10 made it frequently into the 'best headphones' lists among people who're presumably knowledgeable about these things. Sure, it is the most portable and most isolated example of a decent sounding phone but in absolutes it's far, far from 'the best'. Balanced armature drivers just can't take on dynamics at the high end, although the UE-11 might even up the odds just a bit more... but probably only a bit more.

It would be awesome if it's UE 11Pro($1100) beats it's own older brother UE10Pro($900) and midrange driver is nice add.
