Too old to sync

Whoa first post in a long time! Anyway I plugged my ipod up to my pc and it starts syncing with itunes. When its done it tells me some files weren't synced because my software is too old. This was after coming home from a weeks vacation, I had even updated my software before I left too. I go to apple.com and download itunes again, install, yadda yadda. I sync up again and the same message pops up. I figured it means the ipod software not itunes. It tells me to go to apple.com/ipod to download the newest updates but I am not seeing anywhere where It offers new ipod software updates. Can someone give me a link? Thanks

Hi dude. That happened to me. I downloaded the newest edition of iTunes, but it didn't update it. I ended up having to remove iTunes from my computer and then download the new one.

Weird eh? I do know how to use a computer, so it was a software fault, not me.
