OK, so I have a Nano Gen3.

Recently (within the last week or so) my Nano has been failing to charge whilst in accessories using the dock connector.

Works just fine in every way - just won't charge.

I tried the old trick of plugging it into a computer at work that doesn't have iTunes (pull USB cable out to the point where it simply charges but doesn't try to sync) - this failed miserably: the battery has DISCHARGED even more!

The only way I can currently charge my Nano is to plug it into my PC with iTunes.

I have had this iPod for a few months and it's been fine with the dock connector-based accessories up to now.

Anyone got any bright ideas?

how long have you had your ipod for, and saying that, how long does the battery charge hold from when it says its fully charged? i think that might be part of the issue.

I've had it 6 months or so, I get a good 20 hours or so of battery (even when I faff about with it) and it doesn't have a problem with normal charge and discherg cycles...just the accessories.

ok... it plays fine and everything on a docking station? im starting to think that the accesories you're using might be busted... try your ipod on a freinds docking station if possible, and see if there's an improvement.
