Hi. I would like to listen to music from my ipod instead of placing it on one of those docking stations. I have seen these small peakers that look like those Alexa's. Will my ipod play from one of those and if so what lead will I need. I did have a docking station but it now doesn't work, and we sit outside many evenings and would like to listen to the ipod. From what I can see, I will need a lead with both ends the same like the one that the headphones jack.
Sorry I can't explain better.

Most iPod nanos are not Bluetooth enabled, the exception being the 7th generation Nano.

If you have the 7th generation Nano then you should be able to pair with a real Alexis speaker or any other speaker that also supports Bluetooth 4.0.

Any earlier version of iPod nano will require the headphone jack to be used.
