quick questions about the new 5.5G

Hi guys

I still have my mini from about 3 years ago - the battery seems a little quirky at times, but otherwise working fine. In any case, it's time I had access to all 13GB of my music at once on a nice colour screen, so I'm going to be ordering a new 30GB today.

So here's my questions:

1. Can I use the firewire AC adapter that came with my mini to charge the new 5.5?

2. What is the case that comes with the ipod? Is it clear, white, completely closed or can you still use the clickwheel while it's in there?

1. Yes, you can charge the ipod via firewire, but not sync.

2. it is a synthetic material sleeve, you can't see the screen or use the scroll wheel.
