Preps for the IS?!?!

I have had my iPod for about 4 days right now and i have been trying to keep it clean and protected because my IS has just arrived today. Though i think nothing has seriously been scratched or dirtied i am still worried about anything being trapped under the IS once i apply it. I have no "special iPod cleaners" so what can i do to make sure my iPod is in its best shape before putting on the IS. What should i clean it with and such, remember i have no iPod cleaners though i can get other things that would b available at electronic or other stores

Baby wipe or eyeglass cleaner wipes in individual packs. You are sure not to have any lint because it is in a lint free pack, then apply the IS right after. Also, when you apply, if you see bits and pieces of something, you can lift up the IS and wipe it off.

Make sure your hands are free of dog hair (don't ask).

clean the surface that your working on as well, i used gloves the kind that doctor use, i think i got them from a pharmacy. the gloves are for the finge prints.
