Hey guys - i know most of you ordered from Apple when gertting ur new iPods!

I'm tracking my order and have no idea - when i should expect the dam thing!
I live in Dublin Ireland (I Imagine it takes roughly as long for UK orders)

Heres what it says on the website

So how long now? Does it come direct?

everyone's seems to be different, personally mine said the same as yours for 4 days without changing, then one night it was in Holland and I had it the next day (Leeds, UK), in total it took 6 days including a weekend in the middle, but if you look at some posts you'll see it's taking some people much, much longer

thats so annoying - i ordered it on the 1st - it took atleast 10 days fo it to change from order recieved to shipped....

i got a little frustrated needless to say - but hearing that most ppl dodnt take that long is even worse!

Ordered on a Saturday and received on the following Friday. A working day earlier than the TNT girl had said

Now my order says its in Amsterdam....

i dont know how he got Shanghai and Ireland mixed up.. but its obvious hes on some kind of crack!

you too nategreat24 - if u think Shanghai (in Asia) is in the same continent as Ireland (an Iseland on the western edge of Europe)....

Well I live in NY and was away on vacation when the 5g was released. It shipped out that wednesday and was delivered 2 days later on that friday. Of course I wasn't home until saturday and no one was home on friday to sign for it so I had to wait until monday.

ok... well Im still waiting for mine. All it says on the Order status is Out for Delivery and its still in Holland - of course this is always behind. Im sure it will still say its in Holland by the time it actually arrives.

What Im now wondering is - by Out for delivery does that mean it will do the final leg of the journey by regular Mail rather then commercial freight and corrier? When your iPod came was it in a Fed Ex van? or Did the regular postal service drop it to your door?

Find out who the carrier is and phone them up quoting your consignment number. They should be able to give a better indication than the Apple site.

I got an order confirmation 3 days after my ipod was delivered :S
