just drag a TEXT file into the NOTES folder on your ipod. YOu must have disk mode enabled in ipod options in itunes. Word files won't work because they aren't technically text files. You can use notepad or wordpad.
Follow JMG. That's the most easy and efficient way. There really isn't a need for a seperate program for notes unless you're just THAT lazy.
I just wish the iPod had some kind of text editor so we could make a few notes within the iPod. Also, a calendar editor wouldn't be so bad either. I'm not asking for a full-fledged keyboard on the iPod, but the scroll-wheel could be used as a keyboard.
Ok, go to Start>Run. type NOTEPAD, then OK. Type what you want, then save as TXT. remember where you saved it, then drag the file(s) to your Notes folder on your iPod (enable disk-mode.)
