No Pepsi caps in SoCal?

I live in SoCal, within five miles either way of an Apple store. You would think this would be one of the larger markets for Apple and thus, the Pepsi promo.

The promo is almost over now and I have yet to see a single Pepsi bottle with an iTunes contest cap. All we get are "Laker Caps". I look every day when I go to the store for a Coke. I was all ready to "Switch" but looks like thats not gonna happen. I read that Pepsi also missed getting bottles to the NY market.

So my question is this.... What the....?

Where do you live in so-cal? I have to agree with you. I live in San Diego and no luck either. All i get are those laker caps as well...but hit up your 7-11 and get the fountain drink cup. The slurpee have the promotion cups too.

Ya when i was there for a vacation all i saw was the Lakers bottles. I called pepsi and they said they would be there in a week but that was almost a month ago. So i guess not. Sorry guys.

and I have gotten at least 20 songs. I just go thru the recycle bin at work and there are tons.

I was wondering why I couldn't find any either. I just figured they didnt want people in the ghetto to get free music. I feel less offended now that I know its a So Cal thing.

the itunes bottles are everywhere down in the houston area. it took about a month after feb 1st. saw the first bottles 3 weeks after the first.

Wow same here. In school in Irvine, CA (Orange county, socal) there are never any of the iTunes caps. Just those annoying Laker caps and they #### me off because they are useless. "Spend $50 dollars at FootLocker and get 10% off". I want those damn iTunes caps. I am glad to see its a SoCal thing and not my school.

Sorry to say but that Pepsi deal sounds bogus (been to Ralphs grocery, Smart & Final, Walgreen, Rite Aid drugstore, Dales Liquor stores, vending machines.....)!

I FINALLY found one store YESTERDAY (4/1) that has them in stock.

And I bought a winner!

Seems most of the Pepsi/iTunes stuff in SoCal is at 7-11. Go get a Slurpie or a Big gulp. They all have the iTunes stuff on them. No bottles in Ventura County for the last 6 or so weeks....

Way back on March 26th, I bought a Pepsi bottle with a winning cap at the 7-Eleven at the corner of Burbank Blvd. and Colfax Ave. here in North Hollywood.
