New computer, won't sync some songs

I have a new computer. Launched iTunes, authorized the computer. Thirteen of my purchased songs won't load onto the nano because it says the computer is not authorized to play them. I played each of the songs in iTunes and authorized each individually when asked. They still won't sync--I get the same message. This worked the last time (after a hard drive crash), but it isn't working now. Any advice?

Windows XP--yes, I did Authorize Computer, and it told me all was well. I've also authorized each of the songs individually.

Huh. I was afraid you were running Vista.

I wonder if deauthorizing all and then reauthorizing would work?
