I have a nano that was bought for Christmas. It plugged in for a couple of hours, music was loaded and then used at the gym for about 3 hours total. It has not been plugged in since. When it was turned on, it said "Disk Mode Do Not Disconnect!"
Would a hard reset clear this?
It's not my nano, it's my sister's and she just called from the gym to ask what happened.
I don't think she fully charged it upon first use either.
Thanks!

she's gotta press eject in the ipod column on the left hand side of itunes. you cannot get the ipod out of disk mode. just tell her to press eject and see if it works.

Sorry I wasn't clear. She plugged it in, loaded music, used it for about three hours total at the gym and has not plugged it in since. In other words after normal use it reverted to the do not disconnect message and was no where near a PC or Mac.
