Locking Access to iPod

Here's an idea that sounds unique (unless it's already possible and I'm just missing it).

I want a way to lock my iPod so that no one can access it's music and files from the computer. Like, maybe there could be a way that iTunes could have it password protected and only allow access to it's files with a password, and then the same with access through Finder/Explorer, using a sort of FileVault method. I would dig it and use it because what happens if your iPod gets lost and you have some important data on it you don't want anyone else accessing it or your music. Hmm sounds interesting to me.

There's no way to lock out the music. But I'm sure there's file encryption software that you can use on files that your loading onto it in disk mode.

Maybe you could invent a little plug that sits in the headphone port that you can't remove without a key.
