• With the number of recent threads from brand new users that we have observed in our Classifieds forum selling goods under questionable circumstances, we have instituted a new policy restricting new members of iLounge from posting new threads in the Classifieds forum until they have reached "Regular Member" status.

New users become Regular Members once they have made 10 posts and been a member of the iLounge Forums for at least 7 days. Prior to this time, members may still read the Classifieds forum, and even respond to existing threads for items being sold by other members, but they may not create new threads advertising their own items for sale.

This will hopefully help to protect our user community by discouraging fraudulent users from signing up and posting classified ads without having at least a very basic level of established membership in our forums.

Obviously all users should still exercise due diligence when making use of our classifieds forums, but we hope that this restriction will help to decrease the number of blatantly fraudulent ads that we have been seeing in recent weeks.

Please be sure to review our Classified Forum Policy for more information.

It's hard to explain, but I'l give it a shot.

I know that I wish the ipod could keep your place in multiple playlists. For example if I am working out I would like it to keep my spot in my "workout" playlist in my list of songs. Or when I'm in the car, I would like it to keep it's spot when I'm in my "car" playlist. Therefore I wouldn't have to keep switching playlists, and starting all over in that playlist. Especially when you have a lot of music, you miss out on alot of songs.

Because that is such an inconvenience and the time you lose costs you thousands of pounds/dollars/yen ? Who are you, Bill Gates

Coming to an iLounge forum near you: ''I hate Steve & his dumb ipods, they don't even cook my toast properly''

Ok let's see smart guy, in order for them to make an improvement, it has to save me millions of dollars? So how has a slimmer ipod helped anyone save millions of dollars. Please think before you type dumb responses. All I'm asking is for a firmware change. They aren't having to buy any extra hard-ware. Obviously people like you don't workout, so you wouldn't have to worry about that. Sorry that I didn't consider people such as yourself. And i'm sorry, but my time, unlike yours, is actually worth something.

imacc - 4500+ posts... nice.... get a girlfriend!

and - cudos to vinsanity. he has a good point - it would be a very handy feature. When you watch video on ipods and listen to music for a while and then come back to your video - it remembers where you were.

Hes saying the same thing - but on playlists. A very good idea.

Actually, I think vins and lukie have great points. I have wished over and over again for "bookmarks" in my playlists. ESPECIALLY the gym.

And out of the 100 or so posts I've seen from imacc, maybe 1 or 2 have been useful.

Okay, I think it was just one.

But could this easily be changed in a firmware, or iTunes update? Or would they have to actually do something with the hard-ware?
