Large Ear Canals

Am I the only person who suffers from having large ear canals? I’ve tried both the Apple in-ears, as well as the Sony EX71s. Neither are large enough to get a proper seal in my ear canal, and just fall out of my ears as soon as I stand up from my chair. I’ve also tried 5 different kinds of ear buds, all of which are either horribly uncomfortable or won’t stay in my ears. It’s as if my ears were designed to repel earphones!!!!

I’d try those earbuds with the little ear clips, but I wear glasses.

The only earphones I’ve found that fit my ears are the Philips HE592s. Unfortunately, I don’t really like the sound of them.

My shure e2s came with some huge silicone tips. I have absolutely no use for them. Send me a PM and I'll mail them to you, free of charge. You should be able to use them with the Apple or Sony phones with little or no modification.

Wow! I didn't realise that people had large enough ears for the biggest Shure silicon sleeve. I thought it was impossible. I wish they done a smaller set.

My ears don't actually look at that large. I don't look like Dumbo or anything.

I just seem to have his enormous gap between my ears. My wife will attest to this fact.

I had the same problem, The Shure E2C large silicone tips barely fit. I with those in I couldn't get a proper seal either. So, I am no looking for some cricumaural headphone :-(
