Kenwood KDC-MP5028 question

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Kenwood KDC-MP5028 head unit. I'm thinking of getting one for a decent price from a friend of mine, and just wanted to see if anyone has an opinion. I'll wait on buying the new control interface for now and just run a 1/8-rca cable, but I've heard of some problems with engine noise from chargers running off the cigarette lighter. I have 2 adapters, one cigarette, one not, so the second might not have a prob, but it's something to think about. Anyway, any thoughts, good or bad, are greatly appreciated.

I have that model and like it, especially for the price. Sounds good and the specs are good. Has both a cd changer and aux in. I have the Kenwood Sirius tuner connected to the cd changer connection and the Kenwood Ipod controller connected to the Sirius tuner box. Everything works great and text scrolls.

Unit also plays MP3, AAC, WMA.

Used to use a lighter charger and never had any problems.

Thanks for the reply. I'll probably be getting the unit in the coming weeks. I'm tired of not having my iPod in the car!
