iPod won't connect

Hello,

Just got a PCMCIA Firewire card for my laptop and I'm trying to get my iPod to connect. When I plug it in, it turns on but the "Do Not Disconnect" screen or the circly arrows do not show up. What do I do?

Your card may be the problem. Have you charged your ipod? If it is charged up I would try another card. If possible go to your closest computer store and see if they will let you try out cards on your laptop until you find one that works. You might try a search of this forum and see if there are any recomended pcmcia cards.

Bah...I'm really short on cash and I don't want this thing if I can't even sync it to my own computer. Guess I'm returning the iPod.
