if you use Entourage then get iPod It 1.9 for the new ipods. It syncs everything, calendar, contacts, email, tasks, notes, ical shares, weather and news. Boy, what else do you need?!:D

Ah. Well, the one I use the most is the fact that the iPod is accessible as a disk from the Terminal. The "grep" and "cp" commands can be used to find and copy songs from the iPod. I made an AppleScript based on these commands that lets me select songs on the iPod in iTunes and it will find and import them to my iTunes Library.

Using iLyric's iPod syncing and the information found in this pdf I've embedded links to songs on the iPod so that when I select a lyric on my iPod it will start playing that song.

Pretty handy.
