iPod frozen/stuck on hold.

Hi,

First problem with my iPod and it's not on the forum or Apple site from what I can see (quickly skimming through).

As the subject title says, my iPod's stuck on hold. I always have it on that and when I take hold off it turns on and works fine. Tried doing it this afternoon and with no luck. Plugged it into the adapater when I got home and thes creen comes on to show it's charging, but you can also see that turning hold on and off makes no differnce as it stays locked hence I can't try the resit solution to most problems; any ideas?

Think my warranty runs out early March so I gotta be quick on this one.

Hello,
The locked sign stays on while you switch hold off right?
I did have the same problem with you. But what I did to restart, I switched the hold switch back and forth like three times and then held the menu and play/pause button for around 5 seconds or so.

This is just a idea that worked for me.

Tried this with like 10 switches and for 10 seconds and still no luck

Cheers for the suggestion though halo'. Checked my warranty and am happy to realise it's for a year and not 90 days like I expected so guess will look into how to chase that up this weekend.
