I am trying to connect my old iPhone 6 to new SamSung TV with no luck. iPhone keeps trying to find netowrk TV but can't They are both on the same network. I just found out that the TV is not bluetooth enabled. Could that have anything to do with it?
Bluetooth usually has nothing to do with it. Bluetooth in a TV is usually use to transmit audio to wireless headphones, not accept a signal.
What model of Samsung is it?
What are you trying to connect for?
Is the Samsung TV on your wireless or wired network (I prefer wired)?
Are the IP addresses of your phone (Settings->WiFi-><connected network name>) and the TV similar? Phone: 192.168.1.XX TV 192.168.1.XX
Is Airplay enabled on your Samsung TV?
What is the version of IOS on the iPhone 6?
I have guesses to the answers, let's see how close I get:
2019 55" 4K LED Smart RU8000
To CAST audio, pictures or video from the iPhone to the Samsung.
The TV does not have a network connection yet.
Once the TV is connected, yes they have similar addresses.
No Airplay is not enabled
The IOS version is 12.4.x
