Does anyone have the latest iOS on their XR, and are there issues? My phone works fine, not slow. But, sometimes you put a new OS on an iphone and it behaves more slowly.

Just wanted to see what people have experienced!

CJ - the new OS consumed more battery power? If so, why?

Increased battery usage is a common complaint with every upgrade. Most people blame the operating system for huge battery usage when it is usually the age of the device or poor battery management that is the real cause.

The Apple enthusiast shows that the battery difference is minimal A few minutes different, not enough to even notice.

Usually the slight increase in battery consumption is a new service or feature that was added. Gadgets like the weather one use power to get the latest information constantly. Using the Weather App, gets the information when you open it (assuming background tasks are disabled for the weather app as they should be) so it uses less battery.

The weather app doesn’t use a lot, it was an example of how more battery could be used by a new feature.
