• With the number of recent threads from brand new users that we have observed in our Classifieds forum selling goods under questionable circumstances, we have instituted a new policy restricting new members of iLounge from posting new threads in the Classifieds forum until they have reached "Regular Member" status.

New users become Regular Members once they have made 10 posts and been a member of the iLounge Forums for at least 7 days. Prior to this time, members may still read the Classifieds forum, and even respond to existing threads for items being sold by other members, but they may not create new threads advertising their own items for sale.

This will hopefully help to protect our user community by discouraging fraudulent users from signing up and posting classified ads without having at least a very basic level of established membership in our forums.

Obviously all users should still exercise due diligence when making use of our classifieds forums, but we hope that this restriction will help to decrease the number of blatantly fraudulent ads that we have been seeing in recent weeks.

Please be sure to review our Classified Forum Policy for more information.

Hi folks, I'm not sure where this should be posted, so feel free to move.

Your booth was amazing! I'm sure you've gotten many comments on this, but the iPod timeline is always something I love to stop in at and enjoy. For those that did not make the show, here are a couple of small images (I have larger ones if anyone wants):

One suggestion that I do have is to limit the "giveaway cards" that are usually around the iLounge booth to those vendors that will actually do that.

I took the Griffin iPhone case card over to Griffin's booth and presented the card with my email address. Once I finally got someone's attention (they all didn't look like they wanted anyone in their booth), the young lady asked an associate who walked over, looked at my badge and then whispered something to her and she then said "sorry we don't have any more."

I guess this took me by surprise that the Griffin employee couldn't just tell me there were no more; evidently they were reserving them for "special" clients and this may be just a way to get your contact info for their mailing list.

Candidly, I won't be recommending their product anymore; they've evidently gotten too popular to take care of their customers (I've got about siz of their cases).

Steve, thanks for dropping by - glad you enjoyed the iPod/iPhone timeline - if you'd made yourself known to one of us on the booth you could have got one of the "iLounge edition" Speck Candyshell Flips we had for giveaways!

Quite a lot of those cards were picked up over the course of the show and from my occasional strolls past the Griffin 'store' it was busy every time I went by.
Griffin provided the multi dock chargers for the booth, which with the frankly pathetic battery life of iPhone 4's around Vegas, were greatly appreciated by visitors!

With the iLounge Pavilion expanding even more next year, make sure you stop by and say hi if you visit CES...
