I killed my ipod while installing rockbox. please help

SO I just got an i pod classic was working fine tried loading music through itunes and everything. then I decided to install rockbox as I just found out about it. tried multiple times and all the times the extraction failed. so when i disconnected without reinstalling the ipod dscreen said "recover using itunes". But my dumb a## just reconnected it to the pc and tried uninstalling rockbox and then ejected again.

Now my ipod shows a faint apple logo and upon hard resetting just makes a clicking sound the logo vanishes for a second and reappears again.

Can someone please help?
