• With the number of recent threads from brand new users that we have observed in our Classifieds forum selling goods under questionable circumstances, we have instituted a new policy restricting new members of iLounge from posting new threads in the Classifieds forum until they have reached "Regular Member" status.

New users become Regular Members once they have made 10 posts and been a member of the iLounge Forums for at least 7 days. Prior to this time, members may still read the Classifieds forum, and even respond to existing threads for items being sold by other members, but they may not create new threads advertising their own items for sale.

This will hopefully help to protect our user community by discouraging fraudulent users from signing up and posting classified ads without having at least a very basic level of established membership in our forums.

Obviously all users should still exercise due diligence when making use of our classifieds forums, but we hope that this restriction will help to decrease the number of blatantly fraudulent ads that we have been seeing in recent weeks.

Please be sure to review our Classified Forum Policy for more information.

How many new iPods have you spotted in public so far? At my school I've seen 3 new Nanos and 2 Classics.

hardly saw anyone with ipods earlier than 4g, then a small cult like following of 4g - 5.5g full size models. people want cheap & still see ipod as fashion accessory. that's why when the new nano came out, resembling ipods with screen but much more affordable, lot's more people have the nano now. i think it's probably peaked there & full size ipod owners may be a bit disgruntled that their's has become obsolete so soon, maybe won't upgrade.

2 more 3G Nanos spotted at school today. That's a total of 7. I can tell the Nano will sell like hot cakes this holiday season.

I saw another new Nano at school. These things just keep popping up all over the place! These are all different people by the way. I'm not seeing the same once twice.

I'm the only one (I think) with a new nano. Someone at lunch was asking to play with it. I said no, because the teachers take away all things electronic during school hours. Everyone else has 2Gs.

My school is an electronics heaven. We have all of these rules against electronic devices but no one ever enforces them. They even have a rule that says all cell phones should be off and in lockers. Pfft, you have no idea how many cell phones I hear ringing in class everyday.

I've also lost count of how many new Nano's I've seen. There is just too many.

To be honest I only know one other person with ipod. And he never uses it. And he is as thick as two short planks, strapped to a side of a mountain. Seen plenty of those crappy headphones downtown though. I wear shures with mine, so I don't get laughed at.

Know plenty of people with creatives though.

Between riding the bus on the commute and attending college at night, I probably see around 20 a day during the week. Since radio sucks a nice hard one in Denver, they're very popular devices around here.

I've seen 1 iPhone in the wild. A couple nano's. I got a case for my iPhone that concels it to prevent people from wanting to see/play with it. I don't mind but if somebody dropped my uninsured $400 phone I' d loose it.
