How do you autoarrange icons?

I have a 2G Touch. I add and delete all the time, and it leaves gaps in-between the apps and now I have nine pages of apps that can fit in 3-4 pages. Is there an autoarrange option? It takes to long to drag and drop all the time, especially across multiple screens. Thanks!

you can arrange them in to what ever order you want all you have to do is hold your finger on a app and drag them across

Please re-read original post that points out moving a few apps across 9 screens all the time gets to be a pain
