Hello,
I'm having an issue with my iphone. While listening to a podcast, I turn off the screen by pressing the side button and put it in my pocket. About 10 to 15 minutes later, the podcast stops unexpectedly. I take out my phone and find my screen is on with a message saying I'm locked out for the next 15 minutes. I have no idea why. Other times, I pull my phone out to find the screen is on and a few digits are entered into the pin. I put these two scenarios together and I figure some friction or pressure against the screen from being in my pocket must be turning the screen on and pressing the numbers on the number pad to enter my pin. After a few failed attempts, the phone figures someone's trying to hack into it and it locks me out.
So I'm wondering if there's a setting on my phone to tell it not to turn the screen on except only by pressing the side button (i.e. don't respond to tapping the screen). Is there a way to do this?
Phone specs: iPhone XR, iOS 17.3.1
Thanks.
