• With the number of recent threads from brand new users that we have observed in our Classifieds forum selling goods under questionable circumstances, we have instituted a new policy restricting new members of iLounge from posting new threads in the Classifieds forum until they have reached "Regular Member" status.

New users become Regular Members once they have made 10 posts and been a member of the iLounge Forums for at least 7 days. Prior to this time, members may still read the Classifieds forum, and even respond to existing threads for items being sold by other members, but they may not create new threads advertising their own items for sale.

This will hopefully help to protect our user community by discouraging fraudulent users from signing up and posting classified ads without having at least a very basic level of established membership in our forums.

Obviously all users should still exercise due diligence when making use of our classifieds forums, but we hope that this restriction will help to decrease the number of blatantly fraudulent ads that we have been seeing in recent weeks.

Please be sure to review our Classified Forum Policy for more information.

Ontario's a pretty big province. Could you be a little more specific? Where in Ontario don't you see iPods? I live in Ottawa and I see quite a few iPods around. I also visit Toronto a lot and see them there too.

I get the train to school everyday and I always see about 20 people get on the train that have an iPod. There are also about 10 people that I know at school that have one. Now I have one too!!

iPods seem to be turning into chav accessories nowadays. They're gradually losing every bit of class and prestige that they used to possess.

Hi, this is my first post here in ipodlounge.com, and it's interesting but ipods are not too much common right here in Maracaibo (west side of Venezuela), I don't know if in Caracas because it's the capital of the country it's different, but as another venezuelan posted it, right here ipods are very expensive to everybody, just few guys lovers of technology like me have ones but all the rest doesn't even know what an ipod is

Most of population gets MP3 CD players or this new mp3 flash players because it's price (almost 50% less than ipod shuffle or mini), but the real desire technology object right now in Venezuela are cell phones with color displays and 3rd generation capabilities.

Sorry for my english but I don't write so much often in english forums...

I'm from the Philippines. I work as an instructor in a university. So far aside from me I know of only one person wearing one.

Whereas Manhattan is a veritable jungle of white cables, I've been watching the frequency of sightings on the Queens N-W line I occasionally take when it's too crappy to bike to work.

Interestingly, there was a surge of iPod use out there as of a year ago but lately I've been seeing alot more bump-offs (hehe) and it seems as though the ratio of notPods-to-iPods has approached somewhere around 40-60.

Slowly been noticing the 'Shuffle Creep' as well, expect that to essplode by Summer...

In my school... its weird how many iPods there are. All the girls have their pink mini, and all the guys have a gray mini or a 3g. Thats all, but everybody has them. My teachers even have them!

Most people around here have iPod Mini's. Only now a few people with the standard iPods.
