No, this is not about the Britney Spears' song. It's about the show on NBC that's been a summer replacement for the last 4 weeks. You can see the website at http://nbc.com/nbc/Hit_Me_Baby/
Next week is the season finale and I was wondering if you guys/girls would like to see it come back as a regular show instead of just a mid-season replacement for something that fails. Just to give a quick recap
Week 1: A Flock Of Seagulls, Arrested Development, Cece Peniston, Loverboy, & Tiffany
Week 2: Haddaway, The Knack, The Motels, Tommy Tutone, & Vanilla Ice
Week 3: Cameo, Howard Jones, Irene Cara, Sophie B Hawkins, & Wang Chung
Week 4: Greg Kihn, Club Nouveau, Glass Tiger, Billy Vera, & Thelma Houston
Week 5: Animotion, Juice Newton, Missing Persons, & Shannon.
Basically, if you haven't figured it out from the artist selection, it's all groups/artists from the late 70's to early 90's. They come on and perform their biggest hit during the first half hour, and then cover a current song during the second half hour. The audience picks a winner and then $20,000 is donated to that artists' favorite charity.
