Hi Guys, I did a reformat of Windows last night foolishly without thinking about my iTunes info and on reloading it this morning I find of course that all my Playlists, rating etc are all gone. Of course they are still on my iPod.

Any ideas how to recover this info?

You can try a system restore and if that does not work then transfer the music off of your iPod back to your computer using iPod Agent but uninstall iTunes first. Sync'n with iTunes if it's empty will delete all of your music on the iPod.

After you've transfered it back repopulate iTunes and sync the iPod With iTunes.

Thanks for the ideas. Unfortunately a restore won't help after a reinstall but I did get everything back because I had backed up "My documents" and the relevant data and xml files were in the My Music folder even if the bulk of my music was stored on another drive.

I'll be mroe careful in future.
