Help Importing Photos

I need help importing photos onto my new G5 60GB Ipod Video. I do all the steps, I go into options, click photos tab, set which folder to sync with, click OK, then it says "Disk can not be read from or written to". I am sure you guys have heard of this problem before, what do I need to do to get photos on this thing? Do I need to reformat the photos somehow? They are jpg now, aghhhh. Any help would be great. Thanks.

The drive (and more specifically the folder they are in) that you have selected to sync you have to have read/write access to. This is because iTunes goes and makes smaller versions of your pictures to place on the ipod and puts them inside that folder.

hmm, I go to the properties tab on the folder and the window that pops up has a check next to read only. I uncheck it and click ok, apply to all subfolder and files but still get the same message from itunes. How do I do this step by step?
