Can anyone recommend some good closed headphones? Sonys? Sennheisers? The price must be reasonable, I'm NO DJ, It's just for listening at home. So I'm not looking for some PRO headphones.

What do you say? :)

Heh, "reasonable" has a lot of different definitions for a lot of different people, but here's a good list to start from around $100.

Sennheiser HD280 Pro:

Sony MDR-V6 (*not* V600):

Sony MDR-D66SL Eggo:

That's all I can think of off the top of my head in the closed $100 range. The V6 seems to get more mixed reviews, but people really like HD280 and the Eggo.

Update: Just doing some quick searches over at head-fi, the reviews on all of these seem to be all over the map. You should probably head over there and read for yourself before you make a decision.

And for your own reference, the Sony mdrV6 = Sony mdr7506, except for a gold headphone plug the the 7506's.

Again, it is dependant on your price range.

I just read at Headphone.com that open headphones sound much better than closed for the price, so I'm dropping getting closed headphones.

Thx for the replies anyways it was useful. :)
