I'm sure we'll get a sticky for this sooner or later, but here's mine to get things kicked off.

1) iTunes Remote - this thing ROCKS! I stream iTunes to my stereo via AirPort Express and I've been wanting a good remote solution for ages. iTunes Remote hits the spot.

2) AOL Radio - it's only CBS stations, but being able to stream radio rules. I'm a fan of KCMD's Rick Emerson and his show is on CBS so that makes the app a home run for me. The only niggling issue is that it won't run in the background. If you go to the home screen, the stream stops.

3) Weather Bug - very cool! This is what Apple's Weather Widget should have been.

4) Twitterrific - I'm not much of a tweeter, but this app is really well made. It's fully realized from top to bottom. Really easy to use.

So far, i've been playing around with:
1. At Bat - great app for any MLB fan, and it's not at a bad price either, great features.
2. Facebook, far better than the website version, myspace app isnt bad either
3. remote rules, as well

Downloaded Exposure and it's awesome. Now I can bring my flickr photos anywhere. The interface is very nice for a 1.0 rev. It's missing a few features, but I'm sure it'll get an update pretty soon. The "near me" function is tight.

Also, it looks like there'll be a WordPress native application soon too. I've been wanting an easier way to post to my WordPress blog, so that should be a welcome addition.

I like the light saber app. No point to it, just something entertaining. And iPint. Do not buy iTiltPinball, its really glitchy. Kind of a piece of crap.

First off, have you updated the phone to 2.0? Secondly, have you checked Applications to sync in iTunes?

The apple remote is my favorite. It's nice and simple and pretty much the only thing I can see myself actually using for more than 5 minutes. I like sitting at my desk and changing songs on my touch instead of reaching for the keyboard :D

The only thing I would add to the remote would be of course a cover flow interface as well as the double click feature to change songs when you're not in the app itself.

The application store and 2.0 is the best thing apple has done in a long time.

Providing you're connected to your wifi network remote works.

My favourite app so far is Shazam. Very impressive.

Yeah, it only works with AirPort or AirPort Extreme. I had to dump my Linksys router to get AirPort Express up and running.
NOt TRUE

I have it working just fine at my house with a Linksys router.

Don't go spend $179 just to get remote working. :)

BTW, the coolest App I've ever seen is

www.evernote.com

Check it out! It's very amazing note-filing technology that allows you to upload photos of yellow stickies, wine labels, dvd boxes, whatever, and its OCR allows you to search your 'notes'. Take the guided tour on their site.
