Hi,
I suspect i already know the answer to this query and its no, but was wondering is there anyway with iTunes/Music match to ensure that a track doesn't match?
May sound odd but i purchased iTunes match purely for making my library available in the cloud, not for the matching facility.
I currently rip all my music in lossless format from mac to music but when match kicks in.....
1. It matches some tracks on an album but not others - Meaning that if you stream from a secondary device using iCloud library some tracks are different volumes etc and soundcheck is pants....
2. It matches the wrong version of a song.
3. It cannot identify continuous albums with some matches meaning gaps in continuous mixes, live concerts etc.
If there was a way to avoid music matching the track and instead have music upload my version that would be great. I know some people have what i would consider 'silly' work arounds to 'beat the system' such as adding silence to beginning of tracks, but i'm just wondering is there some other way to keep my lossless format and upload as opposed to match?
As i said at the start i suspect the answer is no....
Thank you anyway, appreciated as always
Simon.
