I have been using IpodTvShow (Atomic Parsley) to make my mp4 files show up right on ipod as tv shows and for some reason once I run them through the program Itunes won't add some of them to the library for some reason (so I can't put some of them on my ipod). Why is it doing this?

I went through this, for Chappelle's Show season 2.

Then when it came to iTunes, the files were unnamed? So i had to spend 5 minutes renaming them, and it only shows up in recently added.

Any reason for this?

Thats because the file name is too long. Remove the temp part or whatever and then it should work.

Help Help Help!

So I have the updated version of both the ipod tv show and atomic parsley. Ive done about 5 videos in each program. It labels it right but i put it in itunes and it refuses to transfer to my ipod. Then I have the problem of the TV show category missing completely from my ipod. Ive read this whole post and no one has helped on this matter. Is this the program or what? Are there different programs out there I can try? Im very computer savy but am I doing something wrong?

The TV Show catagory didn't show up on my iPod until I uploaded a correctly tagged (read iTMS bought) TV Show IIRC....

you can always get a "FREE" show from ITMS, as well... they always have something there for free.

i dont get it.. i downloaded both the programs.. sucessfully modified my tv shows to the right config.. uploaded to my ipod and still i cant see my tv shows? any help?

im using win xp sp2 and the newest firmware

did you fill out EVERY field in the program? I was having problems till it did every one. Also, after done. did you delete the original one from the ipod and import the NEW one, the one with temp at the end?

filled everything out. i deleted the old one.. i dont get the one with temp at the end.. where do i get this file?

it creates it in the same directory. it usually has the name, then temp and a bunch of numbers. Delete the original and add this one

Probably a stupid question but here goes anyway.

when using ipod TVSHOW i understand that you must fill in all the fields or else it will double the size of the file (some kind of bug or something)

But what i am wondering, here comes the stupid part, is on the different fields what is the difference between "Episode Title" field and "TV Episode" field? In the Family Guy example it would seem that Season 2 EP 21 should look like this.

TV NETWORK fox

SHOW NAME Family Guy

EPISODE TITLE Fore Father

TV EPISODE Fore Father

EPISODE NO. 21

SEASON NO. 02

Obvisouly they shouldn't be the same.. .but i am not sure what is "supposed" to go there. and which one should i put "Fore Father" in to make it proper

cool...so far

Just started using this program today... but how do you make it so that a show [for example family guy] appears with its different seasons... mine just comes up with all different seasons and up the top it says 'Season 0'.

Any ideas???

Great program tho!

oh just as i 'by the way' i fixd my own problem... in 10mins :)
Here is how i put my info in and i think thats how its suposed to go:

TV NETWORK:
[ex] fox

SHOW NAME:
[ex] Family Guy (Isnt it funny how everyone puts family guy on their iPod! :D

EPISODE TITLE:
[ex] Peterotica :p

TV EPISODE:
[ex] 418

EPISODE NO.:
[ex] 18

SEASON NO:
[ex] 04 (I think i was putting just '4' before so it wasnt working
