I walked into the living room to announce i will be needing to return my iPod do to about 6 stuck pixelsi encountered while watching a movie. So my little sister whom has no higher knowledge of electronics asks if she can see it. She said it looked like blue and red specks of dirt so she hardly tried to wipe off the screen. I then saw only three stuck pixels. I then repeated this motion with a slightly different position and i now have zero stuck pixels on my iPod and will not be needing to return it unless it gets worse or to annoying. I just thought i would share, i dont know if this was common knowledge or not but it made my day. But if it does get worse does ne1 kno if i would be able to return my iPod which i purchased online to an apple store with an identical one with little hassle? thanks guys and i hope my iPod holds up! Btw everyone saying the firware update has added a video freeze with a continued audio bug, i have not experienced this at all. Though i did sometimes have this problem b4 the firware update so i dont know. Oh also i love the new iTunes 6.0.02 because you can now set video clips as tv shows in the optioins menu. THANK YOU APPLE FOR ALL THE USEFUL UPDATES!

I believe you can return iPods purchased from the online store within 14 days of the purchase date. you just request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) by contacting Apple. there's a 15% restocking fee.

After the 14 days..I am not sure...

i am well past the 14 day grace period by the way and if you can no longer return to a store then can you at least send back an iPod with stuck pixels to the factory and get a new one for sure?

You're within the 1-year warranty, right? If you make an appointment at the Genius Bar at a retail Apple Store, they can issue you a warranty replacement. It's easier than going through the hassle of sending it through the mail.

It's more a warranty replacement than a retail return, but yes, I'd say you're safe on it.

Hmmm... I see that you're very exited about the new "TV Show" feature in iTunes.
Have you actually tried it yet? It's nothing to be thankfull for :p

Indeed. You can't do it for a group of files. Not bad for some people, but I have, oh, 114 or so TV episodes from my ripped DVD collection that I want to convert. Fortunately I already set up smart playlists for them.

I can't seem to edit the show name or other episodic information. QuickTime Pro doesn't display that metadata either. Quite useless.
