DVD Decrypter is NOT recognizing my DVDs!

ok so when i put my DVDs into the tray and open up DVD decrypter, its not recognising them, it just says medium not present.

ive tried this with multiple DVDs....it doesnt work.

how can i get it to recognize my DVDs or what other programs can i get?

Are you sure your putting in the right drive of your PC? Some drives won't read DVD's. What DVD Decrypter are you using?

1. DVD decryptor itself is not an illegal program but the acts committed with it are illegal. Talking about DVD decryptor would be the same as getting help on setting up a Limewire account.

2. Make sure you actually have a DVD-ROM and not just a CD-R/RW or CD-ROM drive.

yes its a DVD rom, im possitive of that. And i dont think ripping DVD's onto your computer is illegal. Now taking those, putting them on to blanks, and selling them...IS illegal! But just ripping them onto your computer is not.

ive also tried many different programs...none recognize my DVDs! i know my pc recognizes them cuz i have watched them on it.

Use system restore and go back 2 weeks and see if they are recognized.

If you keep posting for no reason, which is very annoying, why should anyone be nice enough to help you? Since you've provided almost no useful information, how can anyone help? I may be able to help if you provide the following information:

Computer Make and Model
Operating System
DVD-ROM Make and Model
Version of DVD Decrypter Using
Goto Tools->Drive->Capabilities. What does it say?

Also, your chances would be much higher posting at a forum about DVD decryption, not at a forum dedicated to iPods. You could try asking your question at Afterdawn's special DVD ripping forum (the dumb rule about posting links won't let me give you the link, but a quick Google search will find it), where they have over 6800 threads just about DVD ripping.
