• With the number of recent threads from brand new users that we have observed in our Classifieds forum selling goods under questionable circumstances, we have instituted a new policy restricting new members of iLounge from posting new threads in the Classifieds forum until they have reached "Regular Member" status.

New users become Regular Members once they have made 10 posts and been a member of the iLounge Forums for at least 7 days. Prior to this time, members may still read the Classifieds forum, and even respond to existing threads for items being sold by other members, but they may not create new threads advertising their own items for sale.

This will hopefully help to protect our user community by discouraging fraudulent users from signing up and posting classified ads without having at least a very basic level of established membership in our forums.

Obviously all users should still exercise due diligence when making use of our classifieds forums, but we hope that this restriction will help to decrease the number of blatantly fraudulent ads that we have been seeing in recent weeks.

Please be sure to review our Classified Forum Policy for more information.

Anyone here play on Steam (www.steampowered.com) and own an ipod?

i just got Steam to play counter strike on, but i am worried that all the download that it does will one day screw up my ipod software or what not.

So i was wondering if any of you play it, and if i should be worried at all. Thank you

I cant stand Half-Life. I couldnt stand it when I first bought it like 10 years ago (just kidding). I might get HL2 cuz of the amazing grafix. Then again, I could go out and buy Far Cry if I want that.

I stopped playing CounterStrike when it was around version 1.05. It was getting in the way of my studies. I did used to enjoy getting people with the pump shottie and the occasional "shank". They get pretty worked up if you get them with those slow weapons:D.

No Limit, how did you stop? I have problems stopping, and it's getting in the way of my studes. I'm serious!
Heh. It did take some willpower. I finally decided enough is enough when I noticed I was playing until 5am in the morning. It was tough to stay awake in classes. Just tell yourself that CounterStrike will always be there, but studying for that exam won't.

uninstall the game. the work of reinstalling it as well as your conscience ought to make sure you won't cheat on yourself.

every schooler playing cs suffers the same, the only way is uninstalling. for those who havn't played cs before - its the most addictive game ever, the gameplay is tenfold anything. once you get "ok" at it you cant stop because your striving to get better everyday.. every hour.. every minute.. every second ;) for about 1 week i havnt been playing that much :/

Back to the topic at hand. I am a staff member on gamesurge and a master in the #steam / #steam-hangout channels and I have never heard of anyone EVER having problems with steam and their apple software. Just thinking about this question makes me wanna shake my fist at someone.

And getting away from the main topic...

I play on Xbox live. Im not very good. I love the game but i really need to get better. I've only had it for a few weeks. And i too suffer from wanting to play it while i should be studiying.

Man that game is just too much fun! :D

Oh ya my gamertag is O0
