Dock with S-Video VS A/V Cable

i have a couple questions really quick....
i have been using the ipod AV cable to play movies on my TV. they look great. how much of a difference will i see if i buy a dock with an S video out and connect that to my S video input? will it really make a difference?

and finally, should i NOT defrag my ipod in windows defrag? i havent done that. maybe just restore it and reload everything? that the same as defrag? thanks gang.

Cable - if a few more buxs go ahead but dunn expect major improvement if any.

No defrag, leave it alone.

backup and restore back to factory settings then refill the ipod, do not defrag, you might kill your ipod, it wasnt made to do that.
