Digital Message Effects Missing??

I’m using iOS 12 on Xs Max.

The digital touch feature partially works.

I can click on the pink button, pick a color and draw- person receives note.

However all the built-in animations like a heart beating and whatever else was there are no longer present.


Were they removed from iOS 12? I don’t think so because when when you click on camera feature to draw on a photo using digital touch, there is a message with white font instructing the user to add a hear bearing, and the many other affects that are now missing.

I think they are still there, just not enabled. Do you see the ellipse (...) ?
Tap that then tap in the upper right corner to edit the buttons you see in that bar. Try enabling #images for your beating heart and stuff.

Hi CJ, some of the digital drawings are still there like the beating heart, think it’s 2 taps. Anyway, before iOS 12 there was a slew of other ones that people could send. You’d see them on the right of the black writing space.

They have been removed.
