I notice that Apple's website shows the iPad available "for delivery April 3". Does that mean it's available that day, or if I pre-order from the Apple Store it will be delvered to my home on April 3rd?
I pre-ordered mine on March 12th... and it's scheduled for delivery to my home for Saturday April 3rd. You just need to know whether or not Saturday delivery is available in your area.
I almost chose the option to pick it up in the store, but decided against having to fight the crowds. Last I heard, certain Apple stores were scheduling people for either AM or PM pickup.. and if those slots were full you were out of luck for that day.
