Data plan question

Hi, I have a iPhone 3GS with a 6GB data plan. Problem is that I am sending my iPhone away to get it replaced so I am going to use my old cellphone. If I use internet on my old cellphone, would I get charged any extra for using any data? Or would it just use data through the 6GB plan?

Best to check with your cell phone company. Here in the US all plans for the iPhone have unlimited data. However, you can't use any of the iPhone's data for another phone.

Are you going to be able to use your iPhone SIM card on your old cellphone? If so, I don't see how the carrier won't apply your iPhone data plan to your other phone. Are you with Rogers?

Yeah, I'm with Rogers and everything works. Called them and they said it's fine. They checked the usages and said the data is being used through the 6GB plan. I'm just getting different answers from a lot of people so I just wanted to make sure. One rep told me I might get charged etc...
