Choppin' up MP3's

What is the best software for either the PC or Mac to break up one large MP3 into multiple smaller MP3's.

For instance if you had an entire album in one MP3 and you wanted to break it up into individual songs.
Any recommendations on software or best practices in doing this?

I use Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit Pro).. It would do what you are suggesting easily, although I use it to create my own remixes etc.. anyway..

Never heard of the product before bav but I will definitely check it out. Thanks for the suggestion. Hopefully its not too pricey.

I have invested enough in this little "hobby" of mine as it is.
