My main library contains tracks bought by different members of my family, each with their own iTunes account. After the standard evolution of computers in the household over the years, no "Purchased Music" list contains any individual's true list of purchases.

Does anyone know of a script that can build a playlist containing tracks purchased by each unique 'Purchased by' identity? None of the iTunes fields or smart album tags let you examine that piece of data.

AFAIK, that info is private to iTunes (carried in the FairPlay info in each track); certainly Applescript has no access to it. If it exists in any easily-readable form it would be in the XML file, where Perl could extract easily...but I doubt the info is there.

Think of it this way...not knowing gives everyone something to tussle about come Thanksgiving ;-)
