For those who have a iPhone 3GS, can you please check if both your litmus paper (inside headphone jack, and under the dock connector http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3302 ) to see if they are both white? I found out today my 6 day old iPhone 3GS has a pink litmus under the dock connector even though I never exposed it to any water or moisture such as the washroom. I wanna see if I am the only one with this problem.
For those who don't know, Apple's one year warranty will be voided if either litmus paper turns to a different colour.

I didn't even know about these liquid-contact indicators .... but mine are both white still. I'm as puzzled as you are as to why yours are pink! ....

Has anybody else used it without you knowing? Did you have it out in the rain or around a sprinkler? Any possibility from steam while taking a shower? They don't just turn pink without getting exposed to some kind of moisture.

I guess one other thing is where you bought it. Was it from Apple or an authorized iPhone reseller? Or did you get it from somewhere that may not be authorized to sell iPhones?

Nope, never brought it to the bathroom or anywhere close to water. I usually keep it in my pocket then maybe it got warm and then it tripped the litmus paper? But if that was the case then it is too sensitive. Good thing Rogers let me return it. Bad thing is that I will probably have to wait like a month like my first one until they have some new ones in stock.
