The iPad might offer bluetooth/wi-fi printing but I wouldn't hold your breath. I believe there is an iPhone app which allows for wireless printing but I am not familiar with it.
The iPad supports file downloading though, this is part of iPhone OS 3.2. This means that you can access a website or e-mail that features a link to download a Word document, download it to your iPad, and open/edit it with Pages. You could then attach the file and e-mail it to yourself (or someone else) for printing. Either way, I wouldn't hold my breath for native bluetooth/wi-fi printing support.
