Ok - took my phone on a long biz day today, dove 300 miles in the car, I 'd say 20 emails, 6 -10 calls of 3 min each and some, but not a lot of web access...and I was dead by 5 pm...is that normal? I had BT and wi-fi- shut off, and autocheck off..

so what's taking the power on this? mail checking, surfing etc?...My BB would go for 2 days without being connected...so i guess I need a car charger, huh?

Were you driving in areas with good phone reception? If not, your battery will drain faster as it constantly will search for a connection. Your day sound on the bad end of normal, given your use.

My iPhone lasts 5 hours while browsing internet using EDGE. Although my screen is set to about 20%-25% brightness with automatic brightness controll "ON". Have you callibrated your battery? Meaning fully charge and discharge your iphone 2-3 times.
